 About KiddieKitRentals
 In case you are wondering about us, we are an
English mum/French dad family (I'm Nicole and my husband is Olivier) with a four year old daughter, Isabelle, and a newborn (Jan '10) son, William. I started operating in July 2009; a lot of the equipment I am
renting is (or was!) my daughter's (some we have hi-jacked back for William!), plus I've topped up with new items. I have lots of top brand-named equipment, all still in excellent condition. This business has started small with a view to
growing organically, adding to the equipment available as I spread the word, and hopefully as demand increases. Reflecting
this 'cottage industry' approach, rental prices are low - I want to
make it worth your while to rent baby and toddler equipment necessities
for your nippers instead of either having to buy it here or having to carry the extra flight weight and pay a small fortune for it!
Your Questions Answered
- Hygiene - all equipment is cleaned thoroughly and conscientiously between each rental.
- Condition - all equipment is in excellent working order.
- Philosophy - not to rent out anything I wouldn't let my own children sleep in, eat off, travel in, be protected by or play with.
- Where are we? We live in a small village
called Abeilhan, mid-way between Pézenas and Béziers in the Hérault, 34 (Languedoc
Roussillon) region of France. I am prepared to deliver up to a maximum of 50km from Abeilhan (see map below for our exact location).
- What about delivery? Delivery and installation* (if required) are free within 10km of Abeilhan, with a small fee of 50c per km charged for deliveries outside this radius, up to 50km (or you can collect from me).
- And returning items? You can either return the equipment to me at the end of the rental period or I will collect for free within 10km or again for a 50c per km fee outside of this radius, up to 50km.
- Do we take a deposit? Yes, we take a deposit in the form of cash or cheque for an amount that would reasonably cover approximate replacement costs of each item, refundable upon return and check of the item(s).
- Please note that as from January 2010 there is a minimum order amount of 30€ for delivered orders and 20€ for orders you pick-up and deliver back yourself (why not add a toy pack at 5€, if you're not quite there?).
If you need anything that is not listed on the equipment list page of the website or the downloadable equipment list itself, then please do call or email me as I am sure we'll be able to help you out, however large or small your request. Why buy when you can rent? All rentals totalling over 50€
will be lent a bag of age-relevant toys or books for free!
* Please note that by law, we are not allowed to install car seats, but all come with clear instructions.
